At Marple College, 97% of students passed their A-Levels. With 78% of A-Level students achieving grades A*-C and 53% A*-B.
Over 50% of A-Level learners at Marple achieved high grades.
English Language, History and Criminology A-Level learner Kiera Forrester achieved three A*’s in her results, we spoke to her to see what she plans on doing next:
“Despite the pandemic disrupting time in college, the online learning that college set up worked well and support was given by my teachers throughout.
I’m delighted with my results and I am excited to study English Language and Linguistics at the University of York.”

Chemistry, Physics, and Biology student Eden Mellor-Davies, who had previously received an offer to study medicine at Oxford University received outstanding grades with A*, A*, A. You can read more about Eden’s story here.
Level 3 Extended Diploma Health and Social Care student and also Outstanding Student of the Year Award winner Bethany Harper received three Distinction*’s. We look forward to welcoming Bethany as a Learning Facilitator at Marple College in the new term. You can read more about Bethany’s story here.
